Responsive Web Design makes your web page look good on all devices (desktops, tablets, and phones).
So, you're starting a business and you want to get the word out but you don't know where to start. You know your business inside and out but when it comes to getting a website online, setting up a Facebook business page, setting up a YouTube channel, setting up a Twitter account, etc. and linking them all together, you don't have the time or the knowledge to do it. I can help. I will guide you through every step of the process.
Where do I start?
Step 1. Decide what domain name you want to use for your company. A domain name is the address of your website (www.YourCompany.com). You'll have to purchase this from a domain name provider. It isn't expensive and you can pay for one year or as many years as you like. A domain name can simply be the name of your company, as long as it is available and not taken already. But what is also important is that your domain name should contain a word or phrase that people will type into a Google search when they are looking for the product or service that you provide.
Step 2. Decide on a web hosting provider. Once you've decided on your domain name, the next step is to find a place for your website to live online and be accessable 24/7/365. Hosting is also not expensive and you can pay for one year or as many years as you like. Once you have your domain name and hosting set up, you'll decide what email addresses you would like to have for yourself and your employees as well as how you would like to access your email.
Step 3. Let's build a website. We'll discuss the look and feel of your website as well as its technical functionality. Do you want an informational website? Do you want to sell products or services? Do you want to interact with your website visitors? Whichever direction you decide to go, I will grasp the vision of your company and give your website the style you're looking for. Your content will be displayed in a way that creates a unique visual identity. A clear and logically organized navigation system will be designed for your website that leaves the user no question about where they are and how to get to where they need to go.
